All children need to be at school at 6:00 p.m. on the night of the Channukah concert.
4A & B in the library. If your child belongs to knitting club make sure they bring their knitting as we have a great knitting club on the night and it makes the waiting less tedious.

Spectacular Science Projects

I'm looking forward to reading the Animal & Adaptations projects. The students have become experts in their fields, and learned valuable research skills. Thank-you to all the parents for their support at home. Also, thank-you for your generous donations to the Wildlife Rescue Association. After an excellent, hands-on presentation yesterday, we were able to give Krystal towels, cloths, blankets, water, cleanser, toys, latex gloves, and baby food for the rehabilitation of rescued animals.

( on the right ) This is a difficult assignment so the children may need help in choosing the paragraph to read to the class. Any problems please email me. The due date is the Friday 15 January.

I have delayed the book report/talk until next term. Please make sure that the children have read a chapter book during the holidays and can use it for a book report. Thank you.

I will post as much information for the following week on Fridays as I can to help everyone with organization and planning of assignments.

If you get the Vancouver Sun newspaper can you please show your child the location of the Olympic torch each day. We have been following it at school but I can't get to it every day. It is also on C.T.V. news at 6:00p.m. and on the web. We have begun the Olympic unit and the children are really excited about it. We are going to map the whole relay.
